Description
Cows & Bulls Mastermind is a logic game for guessing a combination of items (colors, numbers or signs). The computer will generate a random combination of four items out of ten available. Each item can be present only once. To play, you select four items and press the Guess button. If an item matches in the correct position, the computer will give you a bull, and if an item matches but not in the correct position, the computer will give you a cow.

Themes
- Classic Mastermind

In the classic Mastermind theme the combination items are ten squares with different colors which you can drag and drop into the guess positions. The computer will reply with a number of black (for each item in a right position) and white (for each item in an wrong position) squares. - Road Signs

The Road Signs theme is similar to the Mastermind theme, but uses ten different road signs instead of colors. The computer will reply with a number of trucks (for each item in a right position) and cars (for each item in an wrong position). - School Workbook

This theme simulates how you would play Cows & Bulls on paper. You write a combination consisting of the numbers 0-9 and the computer replies with the letters B (for bull) and C (for cow)
Game modes
- Easy mode
- In Easy mode the computer will tell you for each guess item whether it is in the correct position (a bull), in the wrong position (a cow) or not present in the combination. No highscore information is recorded in Easy mode.
- Normal mode
- In Normal mode the computer will tell you a number of bulls and cows, but will not tell you which of the guess items is a bull or cow - you have to determine that yourself,
by using the information form the other guesses. If you find the correct combination with a few anough guesses, you will be offered to enter your name in a list of high scores.
